A visit with the doctor . . . and my first time to eat rice cereal :)

Last Wednesday I went to see Dr. Tansky for my four month shots and a well-check. The nurse measured me, weighed me, and pushed around on my belly. mommy and daddy couldn't believe I had grown so much! Here are the 4 month stats (well 4 and half month stats really) . . .
Weight - 13lbs 10oz (40th %tile)
Length - 25.5 inches (80th %tile)
Head - 95th %tile (I wonder where I got the head genes?!)

When Dr. Tansky came in to see me, I was so happy I just started talking. No one was really getting what I was saying, so I decided to talk louder. Mommy and daddy laughed, and Dr Tansky made her voice louder too. She said that I looked "perfect" which made mommy and daddy really happy! The doctor finally said I could start my cereal :) Mommy kept telling me it was coming, but I got tired of hearing about it, I just wanted to try it!

So, Thursday evening when daddy got home from track practice, I got to try my cereal!
I ate almost a tablespoon, which mommy thought was good for my first time. After a week and a few days of trying to get the hang of it, I was ready for more!

Daddy accidentally made my cereal backwards (a lot of formula and then even more cereal), so needless to say I had more than two tablespoons. Mommy came home while daddy was feeding me and she was shocked when I ate almost the whole bowl. I sure do love that cereal :)
